The steel angle flange refers to a connection component used in HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) ducts and fume exhausting systems. Generally, it can be a circular flange with bolt holes made from a length of steel angle, or a rectangular flange with bolt holes made by welding several pieces of steel angles. Steel angle flanges are bolted up to connect the ventilation ducts and fittings.
The steel angle flanges may be made from carbon steel with hot dipped galvanization or stainless steel 304. They are drilled with standard bolt holes and can be readily installed by tightening a set of fasteners. The circular steel angle flanges are usually made by a bending process. The rectangular steel angle flange is welded by 4 pieces of steel angles.
