Heat exchanger made of ASTM A179 tubes

A tubular heat exchanger, the tube pass of which is constructed by ASTM A179 seamless tubes.

ASME BPVC Section II Part D has listed the tensile strength values and yield strength values of ASTM A179 seamless tubes at different temperatures in Table U and Table Y-1, respectively. These values are to be used in design calculations according to the rules of the construction codes.
